Q: Where you from, and what crews you rep?
A:The Bay Area. I rep Osh, Pt and Lords. Those are the full time crews… there are a few others, but these are the main ones.
Q: How did you get into the graff game and who are your influences?
A:Been doodling on stuff since childhood. I guess that just progressed. Skate graphics and heavy metal album covers were an early influence on me, but I didn’t start getting good until I was mentored by Nate1 Mpc, in 95. Since then, I’ve derived influences from nearly everyone I’ve had the opportunity to paint with. Now days, I look to nature for influence… lately I’ve been on an insect kick… but that will morph to something new eventually.
Q: What you think bout the graff scene nowadays?
A:Good and bad. A lot of cats out there are steady ripping burners like parking tickets. I’m also juiced off the young writers who are really putting in their work in the streets. With regards to productions, I really like it when people make the backgrounds emphasize their pieces by engaging the two together with some kind of coherency. I don’t need to see any more productions where someone just copies some comic book and then stamps pieces on top, with no kind of plan. It’s got to all flow together, remember? Style rules supreme!
Q: Where do you see your graff career going?
A:I’ve got visions of grander…My goal is to become the premier standard for what a graffiti productions should be. I want to influence writers to push their own comfort zone in an attempt to sharpen their skills. This is a lifetime commitment for me.
Q: Any last shout outs?
A:Cirv, Searius, Rome, Swype, Medik and the whole Osh Pt family! Use, Pastime, Quake and all my Lordian brotherhood! Lost and all the De homies, K2, Eon75, Pretty much all Bay Area crews who aren’t toy, and even a few that are, old school inflential crews like Tac, Att, Tws, Mpc, The Feds, Orko, and a grip of others I probably forgot to mention, and last but not least, my two favorite ladies Ning & Zoey!
